Functional Fitness for Kids

We specialize in teaching kids and teens how to move and lift weight in a safe and fun environment. Starting at age 6, we start teaching body awareness and how to pick up objects with good form. As kids mature in age, we start introducing dumbbells, barbells and more weight as their form and body allows for it. As they approach our Teens class, we coach them personally in proper weight lifting and Olympic Lifting form.

Our classes are 45 minutes long and include a warm-up, a skill or strength section (for Teens), a workout, and a cool down. Each class is led by a Certified CrossFit Kids Coach who specializes in how to safely work with kids as they are growing and maturing.

What Do we DO:

Our Level 1 class is for beginners age 6 and up.

Our Level 2 class starts working with a light barbell for ages 9 and up.

Our Level 3 class is reserved for teens and includes coaching in strength training and Olympic Lifts.

Class Levels:

During the School Year, we meet Mondays and Wednesday as follows:

  • Kids Level 1&2: 4:15pm- 5:00pm

  • Kids Level 3 (Teens): 3:45pm- 4:30pm


  • CrossFit Kids Level 1 & 2: Not in Session

  • CrossFit Teens: 6 week Class (June 17-Aug 2)

    • Ages 13-16

    • $165 for 18 classes
